The city of Belfast is one of the newest regenerated cities in Europe. During the last 35 years it would be true to say that the northern counties of Ireland did not have a very good image as prime tourist destinations, however during the last 15 years Belfast and the north of Ireland in general have improved considerably. and it is now one of the most visited cities on the island of Ireland Belfast’s night life is extremely vibrant and most of the bars and clubs and restaurants remain open after midnight, Live new bands Rock, Ska, (Diddley Dee Traditional Irish Music) Blues, Jazz or maybe some alternative music are available in Belfast every night, and for those who can remain uprightand wish to relive their youth there are also a lot of bars and nightclubs which remain open until 6 o’clock in the morning.

Taxi BCT

Belfast has an excellent Black taxi service, we recommend our visitors only to use Black Cabs, as they are the only legal taxis authorized to be hailed on the streets of Belfast and also to help maintain the character of the city . As in a lot of cities in the world there are many illegal taxis; however you will be safe and reassured in a Belfast public hire Black Taxi. Just look for the yellow plate on the cabs.

Do you know why Belfast is the only city in Ireland with Black Cabs? You need to take a tour to find out.

The rebirth of Belfast as a tourist destination attracted an important investment in new hotels, hostels, and Bed & Breakfast of quality (B&B). This variety covers the complete range of price and of services, all the visitors will be able to find a place which suits them.

The regeneration has also inspired the construction of two marvellous entertainment venues in Belfast, the first is the beautiful Waterfront Hall and the second the Odyssey Arena.
  Odyssey
The Odyssey Arena also has 2 cinemas, night clubs and restaurants; it is one of the most popular attractions in our city. The majority of culinary tastes can be found in the city centre, we have a variety of restaurants from Tai, French, Mexican, Indian and not forgetting the traditional Ulster fry which is a must have breakfast for those contemplating exploring the city.
Both are purpose built concerts halls hosting, plays, operas and many of various international sporting events. "Belfast Giants", our local hockey team play at the Odyssey Arena and most of the time in front of a local crowd of 14.000 enthusiastic fans.

The Odyssey Arena also boasts the only “Hard rock Cafe" in Ireland but to find the true old Irish pub it has to be Kelly’s Cellars.

Kelly’s Cellars is located in Bank St, behind the Premark building, just off Royal Avenue if you can’t find it just ask someone Belfast people are always happy to give directions and tell you their life story in the same conversation, Kelly’s cellars is the oldest pub in Belfast. And the bar remains the same since the 1720s, the paint on its walls are older than modern day America; when you enter the bar’s friendly atmosphere you can be assured of a big Céad míle fáilte (1000 welcomes) from the customers and staff who will be happy to serve you a bowl of their famous Irish "stew" or home made soup and for everyone, a cold creamy pint of the black stuff (Guinness) while you relax to the sound of Irish traditional music
Kelly's Cellars

It really is a bar, of all nations the buzz of all the international languages fill the pauses between the "jigs" and "reels " (traditional Irish music) as you sit down beside the traditional turf fire, with the music of many talented musicians one loses the concept of time and space, while you are already on your way for your second pint. A trip to Kelly’s Cellars is not to be missed. Kelly’s Cellars every day until late!.

We have a lot of museums and historical buildings. Queens University is one of the most spectacular buildings to see, particularly the night when the grounds of the building are illuminated. The visitors who come here are normally pleasantly surprised by the local hospitality and kindness which they receive the good moments they spend here and the happy memories they leave with; so why not discover it for yourself by visiting our city the next time you come to Ireland ?
